"Lovely little spot that's off the main bit of the strip. Georgous view, fantastic service and a great atmosphere. Ordered the whole flounder and the Thai prawn salad - cooked to perfection. The quality felt like we were in a much fancier restaurant. Highly recommend."

"My partner and I came for dinner and we ordered Thai Beef Salad and Chicken curry with Jasmine rice. Service is swift. Food is tasty and light on the palate. The ingredients are fresh. The serving is plentiful. The Tiramisu was a sweet treat that topped off a wonderful evening. I wish Dave and all the staff all the best. We are looking forward to come back soon."

"I would give them more than 5 stars if I could. The food was excellent, there's clearly "attention to detail" in everything they're doing. The service is first rate in every aspect. Based on the tables and table set up, you might believe that there food might be "pub food" in quality, it isn't. The food quality here is closer to "fine dining" than pub food. This is one of the, if not "the" best restaurant in the Paihia-Kerikeri area."

"A surprisingly good restaurant which lives up to its good reviews. You enter through the garden into part of a two story historic house. The menu is seafood heavy but there other alternatives if needed. Servings were generous and the food delicious. The ambience was comfortable not luxurious both inside and out. Outside on a warm evening would be quite romantic with umbrellas and the smell of gardenias. Staff were efficient and friendly, its nice to have the owner visit the tables, and the price was very acceptable. I would gladly come here again."
